EMS Week 2026 Proclamation

Posted By: Alan DeYoung Advocacy, WEMSA Updates,

This EMS Week (May 17–23, 2026), the Wisconsin EMS Association extends a sincere and heartfelt thank you to every EMS professional across Wisconsin for your service, your sacrifice, and your unwavering commitment to caring for others.

Whether responding to critical emergencies, supporting patients through difficult moments, or strengthening your communities through education and compassion, you show up, day after day, for everyone.

This year's theme, "Improving Outcomes, Together," is a reminder that the work you do doesn't happen in isolation. Every call, every handoff, every moment of care is part of something bigger. This is a profession united by the shared goal of making a difference for the people and communities you serve.

To all the EMRs, EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, educators, and volunteers: thank you for the work you do, the lives you touch, and the strength you bring to our communities.

With deep appreciation,
~The WEMSA Staff & Board of Directors
