Whether you're maintaining your Wisconsin EMS license or expanding your knowledge and leadership skills, the portal gives you access to a growing library of courses you can take anytime, on your own schedule.

What's Available on the Portal
CAPCE-Accredited CE Courses
The majority of courses in WEMSA Learning are accredited through CAPCE (the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education) and are eligible for Wisconsin EMS license renewal as well as NREMT license renewal. Current course offerings include:

This list continues to grow. Each month, WEMSA hosts a live educational webinar, and those recordings are added to the portal as on-demand content for members to access at any time.
Non-Accredited Management and Leadership Resources
In addition to accredited CE, the portal includes non-accredited courses focused on EMS management, leadership, and operational topics. These are provided as a professional resource for members looking to develop their skills beyond clinical CE requirements. While these courses do not count toward Wisconsin EMS license renewal, they are available to all members at no cost.

Accessing Your Certificate of Completion
After completing a CAPCE-accredited course, your certificate of completion will be stored directly in your WEMSA member profile. To find it:
- Log in to your account at wisconsinems.com/member-compass
- Navigate to your member profile
- Select the Continuing Education tab
- Click the red View Credit button next to your completed course to view and download your certificate.
Your completed course certificates will be listed there and available to download at any time.
Who Has Access
