OD2A Resource Guides
What are these Resource Guides?
We understand that information can be difficult to locate in times of crisis or when going through challenges. That is why WEMSA created county-specific Opioid Resource Guides through our Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) project. Each guide connects people with local help for opioid use disorder, overdose response, and prevention. Your department can download the guide for your county and provide it to your staff and community.

What's inside each guide
Guides are built from local information, so listings differ by county. A county guide typically includes:
- Hotlines and helplines: 24/7 crisis, recovery, and text lines, such as 988 and 2-1-1
- Detox and inpatient programs: hospitals and residential treatment, with addresses and phone numbers
- Outpatient treatment and recovery: opioid treatment programs and behavioral health services
- Peer support and counseling: Narcotics Anonymous meetings and county counseling services
- Naloxone (Narcan): where to get it, plus steps for responding to an overdose
- Safe medication disposal: drop-off locations for unused medication
- Needle exchange programs: nearby syringe service locations
- Educational resources: county and state websites on opioids and prevention
