Herfrank Loyo, CC-NRP, MSHS

Frank Loyo is an EMS educator and simulation specialist who works to strengthen the link between hospital and field care. A former trauma surgeon from Venezuela, he now leads UW Health’s Emergency Education Night program and teaches at Madison College. His work focuses on structured debriefing, psychological safety, and resilience in EMS education. Frank believes training should prepare providers not only for the job, but for the weight of the job, building skill, confidence, and purpose with every call.
