Professional Bio

Alexis "Lexie" Plaski currently serves as a Critical Care Paramedic at Mauston Area Ambulance. She has progressed through every level of EMS licensure — EMR, EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, and now Critical Care — and has worked in both prehospital and emergency department settings. That journey has given her a broad perspective on patient care, system operations, and, most importantly, the impact that leadership and culture have on the providers doing the work every day.

Alexis is deeply passionate about EMS education, mentorship, and professional growth. She believes strong systems are built by investing intentionally in people through helping new providers gain confidence, supporting seasoned clinicians in continued development, and fostering leadership that is accountable, emotionally intelligent, and forward-thinking. She cares about building an EMS community where providers feel supported, challenged to grow, and proud to serve.

Her commitment to Wisconsin EMS is rooted in both experience and purpose. She is motivated to contribute in a way that strengthens clinical excellence, supports sustainable leadership, and helps move the profession forward with intention and integrity.

Alexis is grateful for the opportunity to serve and contribute in whatever way best supports the continued growth of EMS in Wisconsin!
