Professional Bio
Evelynn Dax has served on the WEMSA Board since 2020. She is a proud resident of northwest Wisconsin and is excited to represent rural populations and EMS providers by serving on the Board. This summer marks Evelynn's fourth year working for Mayo Clinic Ambulance, and this year marks her eighteenth year in EMS. Evelynn spent fourteen years as an EMT with Washburn Ambulance before moving to Eau Claire to work with Mayo. Recently she completed her schooling and received her Paramedic license. Always striving for more and wanting to impact others interested in EMS, Evelynn decided to share her passion for emergency medicine by becoming an instructor with her local technical college, WITC. Here, Evelynn currently teaches CPR, first aid, and EMT-B classes. Evelynn was proud to be part of Rescue Divas EMS Summer Camp for Girls, a weeklong residential summer camp, educating and inspiring middle school-aged girls about everything EMS-related. She assisted with the development of Rescue Divas and has spent four summers as an on-site camp counselor for Rescue Divas.
