WIND LAKE, WI – APRIL 1, 2021 — Alan DeYoung, Executive Director of the Wisconsin EMS Association (WEMSA) was appointed as an Ex-Officio Director to the National EMS Museum (NEMSM) Board.

The National EMS Museum President, Dr. Richard A Clinchy, EMT-P, stated “[Alan] …will bring a wealth of marketing experience and connections…” regarding Alan’s appointment as an Ex-Officio Director.

He has been great with helping to navigate the different state conferences and helped solidify some of the strategies for NEMSM, said National EMS Museum Director, Kristy Van Hoven. “He has an impressive track record with sponsorships and an impressive background in marketing and association management.”

This appointment will help to expand WEMSA’s networking within the EMS industry on a national level and help connect members with the history of EMS. It is important that we can recognize where EMS started and how it has grown over the decades, says Alan DeYoung, WEMSA Executive Director.
