2018 Working Together Conference Volunteer’s Needed!!!

WEMSA is seeking volunteers to assist us with various volunteer opportunities at the 2018 Working Together Conference & Expo held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from January 24th-28th.

The Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services Association (WEMSA) is a non- profit organization that has been a vital support group for EMS in Wisconsin and surrounding states.  Founded in 1973, the Wisconsin EMS Association represents the views and interests of our membership by working together as your voice for EMS by promoting education, sharing information, and facilitates legislative action that will benefit EMS as a whole.

Responsibilities will vary and may include register members for classes, monitoring sessions, assist with audio-visual set-up, light office tasks (filing, faxing, and copying documents), directing attendees during event hours, assisting speakers in sessions, and so on.  Strong verbal and written communication skills are desired.  A positive attitude,  flexibility and problem solving are desired qualities of conference volunteers.  You will work in a setting with a wide range of individuals with diverse needs.  Training and job duties will be defined and outlined prior to the conference, as  various volunteer levels are needed.
