LEARN MORE ABOUT THE NREMT

The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) is the required national registry testing to become a licensed EMS provider in Wisconsin. The NREMT test is required for all levels of EMS (EMRs, EMTs, AEMTs, Paramedics).

The National Registry’s mission is to provide a valid, uniform process to assess the knowledge and skills required for competent practice by EMS professionals throughout their careers, and to maintain a registry of certification status.
