Frequently Asked Questions

When will I get my renewal notice:
Renewal notices are sent out 30 days prior to your expiration date.  A second, Lapsed notice, is sent 30 days after the expiration date.

What is my Username:
Your Username is the email you used to register your membership with.  If you are with an Organization and an email was not provided at the time of registration or you cannot remember what email you used please contact the WEMSA office so we can enter your credentials so you can login to the Member Portal.

Why doesn't my password work:
If your password is not working please contact the WEMSA office to have it reset.  Unfortunately, some passwords were lost during the data transfer process.  We apologize for the inconvenience and are more than happy to help you set up a new password.

How do I change my password:
If you have forgotten your password you can click the "Forgot my Password" link below the login button on the Member Login page.  If you remember your password but would just like to change it login to your Individual Profile. Click on the "My Profile" link.  This brings you to your profile page.  Hover over the "My Profile" tab and click on the third line, "Change Password."  You will be asked for your current password, the new password and then to confirm the new password.  Be sure to click the save button!  Your new password is now set.

How do I update my profile:
To update your profile information Login to your account.  You will be brought to a landing page with a name tag that says "Hello my name is..."  Below that image are some blue hyperlinks.  Click on the "My Profile" link.  This will bring you to your Individual Profile.  To update your information scroll down until you see your Username.  Just across from it is an "Edit" button.  Click this button.  You will now have the ability to update your personal information.  Be sure to hit the "Save" Button.  
To update your profile picture hover over the "My Profile" tab.  Click the first line item, "Change Profile Picture."

How do I create a Community Page:
We call our community pages Circles.  From your Individual Profile Page hover over the "My Features" tab.  Click on the first line item "Circles."  This will show you the Circles that you are a part of.  To see other Circles click the "All Circles" link.  To join a Circle click on the name.  Once in the Circle  you can click the "Join Circle" button to the right of the page.
To create a circle click the "Create" hyperlink at the end of the row of links.  Complete the items with asterisks.  When you are finished entering the Circle information click the "Create Circle" button at the bottom of the page. Circles are to be EMS related and WEMSA will closely monitor all Circles.  Harassment and abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
