CommentsI very much enjoyed the conference. The only thing I have a concern about was in the exposition hall. Why do we have to have every emergency strobe on every apparatus flashing all the time. This triggered one hell of a migraine for me and I ended up not being able to enjoy the hall nearly as much as I would have liked. I mean, we are all EMS/fire people, we have seen a truck with flashing lites, but I think it a bit much to have 1 million candle power flashers 4' from your face every where you turn.
Thank you,
Dean Goulet

CommentsPlease consider More or better exibit hours. I was in seminars all day every day as many others were and felt kind of rushed in the exibit hall. I work in the Micro Biology detection business and exibit my companies products often. Longer exibit times will draw more exibitors.

CommentsWell done!! Speaker credentials were beyond my expectations and even without the CEUs it would have been worth the time, money and effort involved.
I have recommended this conference to everyone on our department and we will be back.

CommentsPlease consider accepting credit cards for registration. My early registration was lost and I had to pay cash for four days of the conference. It would have been much easier to pay by credit card.

CommentsA great job again. The Hilton staff were great. The only complaint was with the poor taxi service in the City to get back to the hotel.

CommentsThe conference was interesting. there were many lessons learned in the classes that I had attended. The speakers were very interesting to listen to, and they had soe very good advice for the smaller services located thru the state.
I did hear that some of the vendors were very dissapointed with the lack of time allowed for visitors on Saturday. It might be nice to have the hall open longer on Friday night, and maybe earlier on Saturday morning.
The only other thing I would ask for is not so much poultry for meals. I like chicken and turkey, but it is not what I want for lunch every day. I will be looking at the lunch menus closer next year.
The overall picture I have of the conference is that it was once again put together very well, and that each and every one of you involved in the planning, should give yourselves a huge pat on the back once again. Job Well Done!!!!

CommentsDisappointed by the fact that people could come in the last 5 minutes of the general morning session and get full credit.
Connie M & Racht were great speakers.
Juice and water available for breakfast.
Water available for breaks.

CommentsJust wanted to thank your staff. I thought in the past few years I have been attending this conference. This year was the best core education classes I have been too. Plus I didn't have another injury. But I just wanted to let you all know I am looking forward to next year.

CommentsThis was my first WEMSA conferance. It was outstanding. I enjoyed meeting other EMTs and learning what they do that I could could also use. The speakers were outstanding, especially John Elder from Ft. Worth. He had some excellent cases he went through. I got to see some people I haven't seen in a long time. Overall - outstanding and can't wait until next year.

CommentsI heard about past conferences and decided I had to come - it was way above my expectations! 90-95% of the classes I took something new from. I'll look for a lot of the speakers next time, especially John Elder! Please make bottled water available for the breaks, and having a little more variety at lunch would be nice. Can't wait for next year! Thanks for the great job all of you do!

CommentsI had a great time again as always.I really enjoyed some of the new speakers that I have never heard before. As always there are boring classes or just too much info given that I cant use as a basic but I understand how they have to touch all of us.I was impressed with Doug Wolfberg.I wish he had a day to talk I feel I could learn alot from him.Looking forward to 2009.

CommentsI especially enjoyed Connie Mattera. I had her all day for Assessments on Thursday - Excellent! She did say there was a 55 page handout for that day and I have not seen it. Much was learned - well worth my time!
